Em 1986 foi feita uma associação, hoje desfeita, com o famoso produtor Louis Roederer, de Reims, na França, o mesmo que elabora o aclamado champagne Cristal. Jansz provém de uvas de várias safras e de várias regiões da Tasmânia.
